Build to rent seems to be the new thing. Myself and my JV partners are looking at new build to rent and build to sell. One of the big advantages are the benefit of avoiding stamp duty. There are many other reasons. One of the biggest has to be everything will be new. This lessons are expenditures on maintenance. Maintenance is always a big expense. However with new build ( especially done to a high standard) maintenance is diminished.

This is the advantage as well as when we sell our turnkey Professional HMO properties. We take properties back to the brick in most cases. Everything is new, from plumbing to electric to kitchens and bathrooms. The investors who buy and have bought our properties have minimal maintenance.
