Firstly I do not run or affiliated with the Pin meetings or Simon Zutschi….however if you want to grow your real estate business, I strongly suggest you invest your time in attending your local real estate meeting…preferably the Pin meetings in your local area.

Personally at the various real estate meetings in and around Manchester, I have met my JV partners….met investors who would want to invest & Joint venture on projects….met builders….met an estate agent who handles the lettings of our HMOS for professional tenants. I am always looking to network. I needed an architect so I asked other participants at the PIN meeting. You virtually have a treasure chest of resources at your disposal….More so all the real education. Not the theoretical courses but real life stories in our local area.

More so besides the net working which is crucial for your real estate success, you will learn first hand what it takes to achieve real estate success in the UK. You have speakers who share their successes and issues in which they needed to overcome.

I had gone while living in the US to the REIA meetings and was a commercial member for my bridging company. I built up the bridging company to a turnover of over 30,000,000 doing short 6 month interest only loans to investors. The core of that business was all completed by going to the local real estate meeting. I found property investors who needed money and older investors who wanted to place their money safely. I did all the work. I vented the deals and I sent out for inspections of the property via builders whom I met at the REIA meetings.

At the real estate meetings you quickly learn who are the real players and the time wasters. Your goal is to meet and try to bring value to the real players. You can find them a deal to wholesale….they can teach you how to handle a deal….they might direct you to find money for your deal….they might help you with a builder. What I have found especially at the Pin meetings I have been to sort out the serious and the talkers….there are alot of promises but not alot of action with some inexperienced. Unfortunately some people do not follow up. They do not answer emails or return phone calls. There was a mortgage broker who made a presentation, basically looking for business. I called not once but twice. Could not even believe he did not call back. There were various wholesalers….yet they also did not return phone calls.

You will have those disappointments but when you preserve you will find like minded, honorable and hard working people. My JV partners work like I do. It can be 6am in the morning or 10pm at night. Actually our letting agent emailed me at 10pm to go over several issues. This is what I like. I love hard working people. We are all working. We have goals and dreams we want to fulfill plus families that seem to have never ending needs ( wants).

Myself and my JV partners are looking to develop many more professional HMO projects, hopefully we will enter into a JV agreement with a Hedge fund to supply a minimum of 100 properties a year as well as find investors who are seeking a better return on their money than the bank…..

The place to find these or at least start are at your local real estate meeting….

Wishing you the best luck….do your work…find the deals….the money will find you…
