There is always a proverbial question myself and my JV partners have with our Professional HMOS, should we strive for en suites or simply have double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. There are really no wrongs or rights. Rather trade offs. Firstly it is much cheaper to have a shared bathroom then frame up an en suite. Plus a shared bathroom lets us offer our tenants a cheaper way to live in our Professional HMOs. Personally I would not like to share a bathroom and my personal opinion is that we can charge more for our en suites, make greater profits for myself and my JV partners as well as our tenants will stay longer.
We are currently working diligently on another Professional HMO in Worsely Manchester. For those of you who do not know Worsely….this is a better area of Manchester, plus this HMO is near the train station. A big plus for our tenants. Would like to hear your experience. We are always open to bettering and learning on our Professional HMOS.
