Fire doors are an integral part of a legal HMO property. These Social HMOs are inspected by building regs, fire assessment officer, councils as well as the housing provider. There can not be any gaps in the doors. They have to be exact otherwise the property will not pass nor will we receive a 7 plus 3 year contract. These leases are govt backed with no voids, no maintenance unless structural and no management. We get paid like clockwork. Never a late payment. The big challenge however is that banks do not like the long leases thus lending is limited.
