HMO Social Housing Typical Furnishings UK Property
I was asked how we furnish our HMOs for social housing. Actually the PLC whom we lease to on a guaranteed rent for 5 years furnishes the properties. All the HMOs are basic yet comfortable. The PLC even places all the white goods. We do not have the expense of furnishing or providing. There is no wear and tear costs on our part. All we do is collect our monthly BACS payment once the property passes inspection. Usually our HMOs Uk property are 3 to 5 bedrooms. Not much larger. This also avoids HMO licensing. This is our model to grow. Source the HMOs, refurbish them and have them pass inspection.
