I have to admit, myself and my JV partners are all men. We do not have a women’s touch. A women’s touch makes a HMO property more like a home. It is the same thing in our house. I could live in my office. I really do not have any talents when it comes to decorating or making a home look like a home. It is very important that a HMO investment property looks like a home. For this reason we jointly agreed with our estate agent that one of the ladies would come in decorate the HMO to make it look more like a home than an investment property.
