During Covid and even now we have been buying properties from landlords whose properties were not managed. Numerous times, not only were the landlords not paid but the properties became trashed. Many landlords simply hope that they will be paid. We used to do Professional HMOs and Buy to lets. However we had drama and sleepless nights. Estate agents that should have been managing the properties actually were not. This is why we shifted into social housing and more so the specific niche in which the Home Office is our ultimate counterparty for vulnerable tenants. We have no voids, no management and maintenance is covered unless structural.
