Today I purchased two properties to convert into Social HMOs. One of them I am glad I myself did not do the initial walk through. We purchased via an auction. It was a phenomenal deal. The caveat is that this has to be one of the roughest properties that I have ever purchased. However we will bring it back to the brick and make the property as if it was a new build. Maybe even better as it will go through a bunch of inspections from the council, the housing group, building regs and a fire assessment. This makes me very comfortable investing in these social housing HMOs. Reach out to me if you want more information.
