Basic rule of supply and demand. Limited supply – prices increase. We are not just seeing this, rather a cessation of new supply. All we seem to be doing is selling. They want social HMOs and social buy to lets as they have guarateed rents for the next 5,7 and 10 years. There is no maintenance…no management and no voids. Just a monthly BACS payment. We expect prices to jump once the covid lock down eases. There are first time buyers who want a home along with investors both domestic and international seeking a way to secure their money against inflation.
