Retiring on Income From Just a Few Properties or paying for University tuition. This is what property can do for smart investors. What made me think about this is an investor of ours from Hong Kong. She sent her daughter to Uni in the UK. We all know how expensive Uni as we have a daughter in London. What this savy investor has done is buy social hmos with guaranteed rents for the next 5 ane 10 years. She is getting a net return of 9% on 500,000 unleveraged which pays for her daughters living expenses and tuition every year. She tried the tradition buy to lets and even luxury flats, only to have non paying tenants & headaches. This Hong Kong investor likes the idea so much she is in the process of buying another one of our recent Social HMOs and even selling for us in Hong Kong. We are paying a 2% commission on every property she sells. She has sold one and will probably sell more.

One can retire on a few properties or even pay for a childs education at Uni.

Why deal with non paying tenants and trying to evict them?
