Running Multiple Refurbishment Projects at the Same Time

Every morning from 7am there is always drama. Gas meter issues…electric meter issues…getting supply turned on. Workers not showing up on time. Basically Drama! However through out all the drama we are working on 5 refurbishment projects at the moment. The reason being is the social housing contract in which we are working on the areas are closed. We are under a deadline to finish ASAP. Once finished these projects mostly buy to let social properties plus a few HMOs will generate on a lowside £5000+ up to £9,000 per year!

Might not seem much per property but when you have 30 of them, it is money…but in the short term a massive amount of work. We both keep and sell some of these properties plus our Professional HMOs and Social HMOs as suggested by Kevin Green…Keep one or two and sell one or two.

We have had a lot of interest from buyers from Hong Kong recently. The Hong Kong investors wanted to view one of our Professional HMOS in Salford however we have to give the tenants 24 hour notice. They are in town till Tuesday and will show on Sunday…

In all reality we could not have done it as we are rushing to finish the social buy to lets.
