This morning I went through our mailing list. There are people on there that we have been speaking to since 2014. They have not purchased social housing from us and just read all our emails and missed out. They missed out on consistant and constant rents coming in hassle free. They missed out on price increases such as in Salford in Manchester.

In 2014-2015 prices of 2 bed terraced houses were 60-70k. Today they are more like 120k. Add in the yearly net rents in excess of 10k, these waiters totally missed out. However we have many investors from Hong Kong who want Salford…but the game is over there and yields are too low.

We have been purchasing in the NE of the country. Prices have not surpassed 2008 price peak.  Prices are moving and moving upwards. Too many naysayers just wanted London and capital appreciation. Well now in London we are seeing prices fall.

The bottom line is dont follow the crowd. If you want consistant and long term income, consider UK Social Housing.
